Safety is a concern for all building occupants. Call Property Management if you notice any potential hazards, such as:
- Frayed or damaged electrical cords.
- Shelving too close to sprinkler heads (within 18”).
- Breakers that continually trip.
- Discharged fire extinguishers or missing fire extinguishers.
If you have any questions or doubts about a potential safety hazard, please feel free to call Property Management at (904) 353-9003. A Building Maintenance Engineer will be glad to stop by and review your concerns. Be assured that the building common areas are inspected regularly.
The following are lists of electrical appliances that are permitted and those not permitted within your office space. Our intent is to ensure everyone’s safety, not to cause you any hardship.
Not Permitted:
- Space Heaters
- Hot plates, desktop cup warmers
- Skillets, woks, or any cooking appliance
- Open flame
- Extension cords without the proper ground and/or longer than 9 feet**
Permitted:
- Microwaves
- Coffee maker
- Frost-free refrigerator
- Bottled water dispensers
- Slow cookers / crock pots*
*Slow cookers / crock pots may be brought in temporarily for special occasions only.
**Extension cords are designed for temporary use or for short extensions. To ensure a safe environment, the permitted appliances should be used only in a designated area. These areas shall consist of Formica or other similar counter top, back splash, VCT or similar flooring, dedicated/proper GFI electrical outlets and proper trash receptacles.
